Sveti Stefan Peninsula
The place you see most often in newspapers, magazines, social networks and postcards is the Sveti Stefan peninsula. The peninsula is connected to the mainland by a sandy path, and its interior is made in a Mediterranean style. It is characterized by winding streets, stone houses with small windows and peninsulas like this are a real rarity. Sveti Stefan is a resort for elite tourists. English Princess Margaret and Italian King Umberto II of Savoy stayed here in the past, and many famous actors visited it. It can be said that this is a vacation spot for tourists with refined taste.

The old town of Budva
If you have heard of Montenegro, then you surely know about Budva. Budva can be called the capital of the coastal region, because it definitely attracts the largest number of tourists. The old town covers a relatively small area where you can visit as many as six churches. Here is the Citadel, a historical fortress that is linked to the legend of the tragic love of two young people, Eva and Mladen. According to legend, Eva was the daughter of a rich merchant, and Mladen was a poor fisherman. Due to the difference in social status, their love was not accepted, so this story unfortunately does not have a happy ending. The Old Town is the most special part of Budva, so be sure to put it on your list to visit.

Ostrog Monastery
In the stone cliff, Ostrog greda, at 900 meters above sea level, the greatest miracle of Montenegro is carved - Ostrog Monastery. Every year, a large number of tourists visit this shrine, which is not only unusual in its appearance and location, but also in its special energy. It consists of two monasteries. The lower monastery was built in 1665 as a village church. In the Upper Monastery are the relics of Saint Basil of Ostrog. On the walls of the monastery are iconographic mosaics made of pieces of glass and stone. Ostrog has its own inn where you can spend the night. You will get a bed, a pillow and a blanket, and if you want, you can also talk to a priest.

Biogradska Gora National Park
If you need fresh air, a walk, an escape from the crowd or simply want to stay in nature, then head to Biogradska Gora. Biogradska gora is a national park in Montenegro established in 1952. It is located twenty kilometers from Kolašin and is known for its rainforest reserve with trees up to 500 years old. Be sure to catch the lap around the lake. But be careful because there are plenty of water snakes like white-mouthed snakes that do not pose a danger to humans, but we know they are not pleasant to meet. Don't let that stop you from enjoying a walk around the lake, after which you can try national dishes in a local restaurant that will taste good after the walk.

Bridge on Đurđevića Tara
The bridge on Đurđevića Tara is a great attraction and the best time to visit is in spring and summer when everything turns green, so the dense forest blends with the water, offering a real paradise for the eyes and soul. The bridge is located on the highway Pljevlja - Žabljak, between the villages of Budečevica and Trešnjica. The British magazine "Times" included it in the top ten attractions that you must visit. It rises above the Tara river canyon and was built in the period from 1938 to 1940. When it was completed, it was one of the largest and most beautiful traffic facilities of its type in the world. The construction of this bridge was a huge undertaking at the time, and even with today's machinery, construction would be very challenging. Therefore, it can be said that this bridge is truly a unique attraction in Montenegro.

Velika plaža Ulcinj
In the 25-century-old town, there is the longest beach on the Adriatic - Velika plaža. The large beach in Ulcinj stretches for about 13 kilometers and is characterized by fine sand and shallow water. It is ideal for families with children. And thanks to the wind, it is suitable for water sports, especially kitesurfing and windsurfing. This beach is a true natural paradise and contains over 70 types of iodine, minerals and traces of gold, which is good for the health of both children and adults.

Dramatic Prokletije National Park
A park of drama, mystery and incredible beauty, these are the words we could use to describe the Prokletije National Park. It was founded in 2009 and covers 16,000 hectares. It is located on the border with Albania and Kosovo and is considered the most impressive mountain massif in the Balkans. Prokletije are known for their steep peaks, and the highest peak in the Montenegrin part is Zla Kolata at 2,534 meters above sea level. There are several glacial lakes in this national park, and it is also known for its rare plant and animal species. Prokletije is an ideal location for hiking enthusiasts looking for slightly more challenging routes. Also, this national park is suitable for camping and the right place to isolate yourself from the busy city life, located in untouched nature.

Welcome to Luštica, a place intended for enjoyment
It was not for nothing that we wrote that Montenegro has something for everyone, and Luštica is another proof of that. Luštica is a peninsula at the entrance to Boka Kotor. There are many really beautiful beaches here, and the peninsula itself is surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and dense forests. On Luštica, you will also find numerous historical fortresses from the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian periods. And this is the right place for those looking for a luxurious vacation. The Luštica peninsula is the place where the first golf course in Montenegro was built, and it was designed by Gary Player, one of the most successful golfers in the history of this sport. The golf course was built on a location with a magnificent view of the Adriatic Sea and the Bay of Kotor. And no matter how skilled you are in this sport, just visiting such a field is already a unique experience and a memory that will remain for the rest of your life.
